Elected in 2008; service in 2009 I have been involved with triathlon since 1989 when I was a Second Lieutenant in the Army stationed at Fort Ord, CA. Two of my lieutenant buddies introduced me to the sport of triathlon and I fell in love with it.

I have been a committed and dedicated supporter of USA Triathlon for over 19 years. My focus is on the development of our youth in the SMW Region as well as promoting the sport as a whole within the region. I have served in the military for over 23 years and understand commitment and dedication to duty and the welfare of others. I bring this same level of commitment to the regional council.

I am passionate about the sport of triathlon and the proper development of our youth in the sport. I am a USA Triathlon Level II Elite, USA Track and Field and USA Cycling certified coach focused on youth elite and junior triathletes. I am currently the Director and Head coach for T3Multisports Elite in Round Rock, Texas where I currently live.
